Established in 1917, the training centre of West China College of stomatology was the first center for training stomatological professionals. It was identified as the state example of experimental teaching centre in 2007.
The centre is about 12,000 m2 and located in teaching building. The 160 sets of phantom head and matched interaction multimedia system can serve about 300 students at same time. There are abundant qualified teachers including experimental tutors and technicians. The teaching team is consist of series of professionals and administrators and obtain the honor of national teaching team of stomatology in 2008.

    The centre got a lot of accomplishments by the supporting of modern hardware, high quality teaching team and topping subjects, including honors from state, ministry of education, province and university. The courses of Oral Basic Science, Oral Medicine, Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics are state recommended courses. The courses of Oral Biomaterial, Oral Anatomy and Physiology and Oral Preventive Medicine are provincial recommended courses.

    The centre is run under the administration of both the university and the school. Enable the experimental teaching to become an opening incubator for pillar of the state salt of the earth with “deep culture inside, strong professional foundation, great desire to innovate and wide international view”.
